PSCHE includes Sex & Relationships Education.
This subject permeates all areas of the curriculum and school life. Structured activities through schemes of work provide opportunities for our children to develop their personal, social, emotional and health skills. It includes programmed sex and relationships education for Key Stage 2 children.
Collective worship plays an important part in our PSHCE provision. Pupils come together every day as part of a class, key stage or whole school. We sing, celebrate achievements and discuss key social and moral issues. These are set within a broadly Christian context.
Our PSHCE curriculum promotes the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of the law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Within this programme we have due regard to the need to promote pupil’s welfare and prevent them from being drawn into radicalism and extremism
